Alfonso Que is an incredibly experienced, passionate podiatrist. Having graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2006, Alfonso has since focused on delivering exceptional client care and professional services that exceed patient expectations. He believes that client satisfaction is a gauge of performance and motivation, so he strives to provide unmatched services to each and every one of his clients. Alfonso currently works closely with several general practitioners across Toowoomba and Brisbane. 

Han Berrick graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2019 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry). Prior to her career in podiatry, Han was an AHPRA registered nurse for more than ten years and has a postgraduate degree in nursing, reinforcing her knowledge and experience in the medical industry. Han enjoys working alongside her patients to solve podiatry problems and achieve personal health goals. She is passionate about all aspects of podiatric care and has a particular interest in nail surgery, orthotics, and diabetic foot care. Han is currently undertaking an endorsement course to provide more holistic care through a pharmacological approach. Outside of work, Han enjoys cooking, travelling, and relaxing on the beach with her family. 

Paula Smith is an incredibly experienced podiatrist who has worked within South Australia, Tasmania, and Queensland since 1992. Paula’s typical day in the office involves ingrown toenail surgery, diabetes assessment, ulcer debridement and dressing, biochemical assessment and/or fitting orthoses, and general care and footwear advice. While she enjoys all aspects of podiatric care, she has a particular interest in treating children, sports professionals and the elderly. Paula’s clients love her ‘people first’ approach to practice, and she’s renowned for delivering very honest, compassionate care. The long list of clients who seek out her services speaks volumes about her expertise and approach to podiatric care.

Lesley is passionate about holistic healthcare, having worked in multidisciplinary clinics and non-profit healthcare. Lesley has an interest in treating all forms of nail and skin care, fall prevention through muscle strengthening and balance programs, treatment of biomechanical issues causing pain, and the assessment of complex diabetic and arthritic conditions. She is skilled in removing ingrown toenails and corns, orthotic manufacturing, and foot mobilisation. Lesley enjoys working in disability and taking care of the elderly, with a focus on keeping clients mobile and free of pain. Lesley prides herself on thoroughness and assisting clients and participants to achieve their own health goals. 

Sandra Chen graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a strong foundation in clinical practice. She is experienced in treating a wide range of podiatric conditions, with a special interest in nail surgeries, ingrown toenail care, orthotic therapy, and exercise prescription and rehabilitation.

Sandra is particularly passionate about evidence-based practice, ensuring that all treatment plans are grounded in the latest research to deliver optimal care. She is committed to ongoing professional development, consistently expanding her expertise in advanced therapeutic techniques, including dry needling, prolotherapy, shockwave therapy and various laser therapies. Sandra actively seeks to enhance her skill set in these innovative treatments, providing her patients with the most effective, up-to-date options for pain management, injury recovery, and overall foot health.

Fluent in both English and Chinese, Sandra is able to effectively communicate with a diverse range of patients, ensuring clarity and understanding in all interactions. Her bilingual skills enable her to provide culturally sensitive care, fostering strong relationships with patients from various backgrounds.

Outside of work, Sandra loves playing the violin, staying active with badminton, and exploring delicious food. She also enjoys spending quality time with her cats, who are always keeping her company and bringing joy to her days.

Dr. Ossama El-Saadi is an experienced podiatrist and public health specialist with over 40 years in medicine. He holds advanced qualifications in public health, epidemiology, and health economics, and has owned Friendly Feet Podiatry since 2007.

Dr. El-Saadi combines clinical expertise with a strong research and teaching background, having published widely and presented at national and international conferences. He is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-focused care and is actively involved in professional and community organizations, including Rotary and the Australian Podiatry Association.
